| When I completed the “Drive of Your Life” game, I discovered that my personal style profile was: creative, influential and outgoing. The three careers that match my style are: athlete, fine artist, and musician. From this information I have decided to explore becoming a pro athlete. I selected this job because I enjoy basketball and playing on a team. One of my daily activities as a pro athlete would be to exercise to stay in good shape. I also have to attend scheduled practices. In addition, I have to attend training sessions. To work as a pro athlete I need to participate in high school and college basketball. I must be good at active listening and coordination in order to become a well trained pro athlete. In the United States, the average salary for a pro athlete is $79,460 per year. In the state of Virginia, the average annual salary is $35,792. In the United States by the year 2016 employment for a athlete is expected to increase by 19.2%. In the state of Virginia by the year 2016 it is expected to increase by 38.4%. I am looking forward to becoming a pro athlete in the future. |
